Jaime Jaramillo is traditional farmer, born in Tarqui Colombia and father of 5 children, who have followed and supported their coffee growing initiative, he is proud to present itself as a leader and with the phrase FAMILY WORKING TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER!. One of the pioneers in TABI coffee cultivation in the municipality of Acevedo Department of Huila; his farm El Porvenir is located at a height of 1350 meters above sea level with 6,000 trees in production age. He is convinced that with this new coffee growing System, economic results will come soon.
His savings and hard work allowed him to get a little land of three hectares from which now supports the family. He planted the variety of coffee Tabí, based on the experience of others and without much knowledge about it, but understanding the results obtained in harvest with less than half of the trees planted per hectare, compared with others varieties, with superior performance of two or even three times in productivity with fewer supplies and more space to grow other food.
Their coffee presents a profile where an outstanding chocolate flavor preceded by caramel and cedar scents, are complemented by medium acidity and body with a lasting chocolate aftertaste.
